The Writers
Kevin Koczwara graduated from The University of Massachusetts Amherst in the spring of 2009 with a BA in Journalism and a minor English. He was an assistant Art & Living Editor, writer and movie reviewer for the largest college daily in New England. He currently works as a substitute teacher in Central Massachusetts while searching for a full-time writing job.
He became a Liverpool fan at a young age after an au pair introduced him to the team. He has been trying his best to follow it since. He played high school soccer and has a strong admiration for holding midfielders and believes them to be the most important position on the field. Currently lives in Metrowest, Mass. and is looking for some pick-up soccer games. He currently plays for Shake ‘N Bake in the Greater Worcester Adult Soccer Association.

Ryan Fleming graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a BA in History in the spring of 2009.
Though he doesn’t know what he wants to do when he grows up, one thing is for certain: he loves soccer. Growing up he played only five years until he was around 15, but stopped because the amount of running involved was just out of the question. In his playing days, strikers feared being in his proximity as limbs flied with ruthless vigor.
He wrote for the sports section of The Daily Collegian for about a year and a half and reached the assistant sports editor position. Being only a soccer fan for about two years his knowledge outside in EPL and SPL is a bit limited but he works everyday to expand it. His favorite team is Celtic but follows soccer everywhere.

His love affair with The Beautiful Game began in the winter of 2005 when he saw a clip of HBO’s Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel that discussed racism in European soccer and featured then-Arsenal star Thierry Henry. Since, he’s been a die-hard fan of the North London outfit and the French striker.
For The Soccer Guys, Joe will cover news of most varieties and apologizes in advance for his hatred of Major League Soccer.
