Alonso and Mascherano Transfers Would Deflate Reds

Today two reports came out that should break Liverpool fans’ hearts: Alonso sent in transfer request papers, and Mascherano wants move to Barcelona. Both players don’t feel at home and would be more comfortable in La Liga (Alonso’s transition on the field and off will be easier than Mascherano’s). Alonso is a Spanish international, so it is natural he would like to go home. And Mascherano and his wife want to move to a Spanish speaking country where they will feel more comfortable.
